Position Summary
We are seeking a Data Management Manager (Analytics Engineering) to drive data-driven insights and decisions that support the growth and success of our business across all departments and functions. In this role, you will act as a liaison between the data engineering team and the business intelligence team, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data. 
As the Data Management Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing business that places a strong emphasis on data-driven decision making. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals responsible for data gathering, analysis, and documentation. 
This role is primarily based in our Chicagoland office in Naperville, IL, or our Mt Laurel, NJ office. A regular in-office hybrid model (generally T-Th in office, M&F remote) is strongly preferred as our office environment is a key driver of our company culture and employee experience. 
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Leading a team of data management professionals responsible for data modeling, architecture, and master data management 
  • Collaborating with the data engineering team to build pipelines that support the data needs of the business intelligence team 
  • Managing the dimension and measure definitions for business metrics to ensure accuracy and completeness of data 
  • Providing training to users on how to effectively use and access data structures, including data dictionaries and entity-relationship diagrams 
  • Ensuring data security and privacy through the implementation of best practices in data management
  • Analyzing data to inform data governance and data quality initiatives 
  • Providing regular reporting and insights to inform decision-making across the organization 
  • Driving efforts to optimize data processes and procedures to improve data accessibility and reliability. 
We’re Excited if This is you 
  • 5 years of experience in data management and analytics 
  • Strong background in data modeling 
  • In-depth technical knowledge of data management techniques (data dictionary creation, data definition and modeling, data governance) 
  • Experience working with data engineering teams to design, build, and maintain data models 
  • Proficient in SQL and using data management tools 
  • Strong understanding of data quality and governance practices 
  • Track record of utilizing data-driven insights to inform business decision making 
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams on data management projects 
  • Proven ability to drive improvements by partnering with data engineering and analytics teams 
Education (preferred and or required)
